COMMITTEES

Find out more about each of our four committees below.

Professional Development

The professional development committee will focus on planning and organizing events such as the physician shadowing program, the speaker series, and other career-based events. It provides members a chance to network and directly interact with professionals in the medical field.

Chair: Michelle Anzabi

Community Service

Membership committee is in charge of organizing all of Penn Women Biomedical Society's social events for members. From museum trips to collaborative events with other pre-health groups, we have a desire for creating a strong sense of community in our organization. If you love meeting new people who also love science and creating spaces where people come together to enjoy each others' presence, consider applying for the social chair committee!

Chair: Cami Kozuch

Membership

Marketing

Members of the marketing committee help with outreach and maintaining Penn Women's Biomedical Society's presence on social media. In addition to this, members will promote our events to keep people engaged and to reach potential new members.

Chair: Vanessa Zhang

Community Service committee members work on setting up events such as Transplant House volunteering and blood drives. Along with this, members will be in charge of collaborating with other Penn clubs in order to hold larger scale events. They will also work on reaching out to outside organizations for other potential volunteering opportunities.

Chair: Lauren Rodio
